The thin-walled BD ™ Chiba needle is a needle consisting of 2 elements (needle + mandrel)

The Chiba needle is used for:

• Aspiration biopsy
• Anaesthesiology: sciatica block
• Radiology: Transhepatic cholangiography,
• Chimionucleolysis (in combination with an intradiscal needle).

Characteristics of the different elements of the Chiba BD ™ needles:

• Cannula and chuck: stainless steel
• Needle and Mandrel
• Base: Polypropylene (PP)
• Fixing needle / mandrel on base: epoxy resin
• Packaging marking inks Individual
• Sterility Protector: Molded, transparent with sealed Tyvek® film (non-woven, non-tearing material)
• Sterilization: Ethylene Oxide (ETO)
• Expiration: 5 years after sterilization
